Available rooms at Broad House Hotel, Wroxham
Type (No. of persons + No. of max. extra persons) Number of rooms Price per stay
Double Room - Amanda's Room (2+0)

Amanda’s Room is the smallest room in the main house, but do not let this deter you, as it is elegant and perfectly formed. The cream drapes that adorn both the bedroom’s sash windows and the head of the bed contrast effortlessly with the traditional teal walls. The en suite bathroom is generous in size and boasts the largest bath in the house, which is also the only bath that was kept from the original building. Before the alterations, this en suite bathroom was part of Mr and Mrs Trafford’s suite and has it’s very own gin and tonic button positioned next to the bath!
Double Room - Bernard's Room (2+0)

Bernard's Room is one of the 2 extremely attractive attic rooms at Broad House Hotel and the room offers privacy and its very own features and quirks. Situated on the west side of the house, it has the advantage of a double aspect, with an attractive arched window that looks down on to the beautifully designed west garden. The room also looks south, with a magnificent view across the wild meadow and, in winter, across Wroxham Broad. The bedroom is decorated with a beautiful modern fabric in shades of blue and brown and elegantly furnished with a king-size bed. It is the only room in the house that does not have a bath, but instead more than compensates with a fabulously spacious modern glass shower that fits into the eaves, with its own frosted window. As Bernard's Room has sloping, pitched ceilings, taller guests may find its beamed ceiling a challenge. As the room is located at the top of a steep staircase, it is not suitable for families with children.
Suite - Aunt Diana's Suite (2+0)

Aunt Diana's suite is situated at the front of this beautiful Queen Anne property, with views across the eastern approach to the hotel. Comprising of a bedroom and a separate sitting room, the suite combines the hospitality and service of a luxury hotel with the feel of an apartment that is all your own for the duration of your stay. Aunt Diana's suite is accessible via your own private lobby area, which leads into the delightful and spacious bedroom which is decorated with a rich golden yellow fabric. There is a luxurious king-size bed, and a separate sitting room equipped with a comfortable sofa to relax on. As in all the rooms, there is a fabulous en suite bathroom.
Superior Double Room - Michael's Room (2+0)

Michael's Room is decorated in Wedgewood blue and furnished in cream fabric with swags and tails. The room features cream furniture, including an elegant king-sized 4-poster bed, which adds to the room’s sophisticated traditional ambience. The bathroom is stunning, with traditional blue and white sanitary ware. The cast-iron Norfolk bath takespride of place, with great views across the garden from the bath.
Superior Room - Andrew's Room (2+0)

Andrew's Room is the hotel’s more flexible and adaptable room. The room can be set up with a super king-size divan bed or the bed can be split, to enable the bedroom to be used as a twin room, with each person enjoying a bed of their own that is 3 feet (0.91 metres) in width. The décor is tranquil and relaxing, with shades of green and pale blue which merge effortlessly with the landscape of the gardens beyond. The room has a very modern bathroom with a shower over a large triangular bath, which is big enough for 2 environmentally-friendly guests to save water by bathing side by side.
Superior Suite - Harry's Room (2+0)

Harry’s Room is the second of the two attic rooms and faces south across the wild meadow. The room has a delightful window seat that looks down through an arched window to the wild meadow and, in the winter months, to Wroxham Broad where migrating birds can be spotted. Situated in the roof, the room has high, steeply sloping ceilings and attractive exposed original wooden beams. Decorated with a vibrant modern red fabric, it has a sumptuous super king-size bed. The en suite bathroom is a real jewel - large and fit for real indulgence. The 2-person shower is all glass and dominates the far end of the room. There are 2 baths side by side and 2 basins for those who prefer not to share their space. Extra tall guests may find the beams in this room a challenge and the steep staircase means the room is not suitable for families with children.
Superior Suite - Lady Betty Suite (2+0)

The Lady Betty suite is sumptuously decorated in shades of green and deep aubergine. The beautifully carved oak 4-poster bed stands proudly on the west wall, enabling you to enjoy the beautiful view from the moment that you awake to the moment you close your eyes to go to sleep at the end of the day. There is a comfortable sofa area, which provides a quiet space if you wish to entertain or simply relax in your suite. The en suite bathroom continues the traditional feel with a large double-ended bath that looks out across the west lawns to the more formal gardens. The bathroom is a spacious, part oak-panelled room with double sinks and a luxurious shower. It is rumoured that Princess Anne has used this room when she has stayed at the house on a couple of occasions.
Superior Suite - The Abbott's Room (2+0)

The Abbott’s Room was once Mr Trafford’s dressing room and has a more masculine feel to it. The room is decorated in terracotta, with shades of red and gold. There is a large double-ended cast-iron boat bath situated in the bedroom itself, creating an altogether individual feel and a unique charm. The dark cherry super king-size sleigh bed and soft seating area are positioned to look out over the wild meadow. The en suite bathroom, which is also south-facing, has a traditional feel, with its large shower and high-quality sanitary ware. The en suite bathroom is decorated in keeping with the bedroom.
Superior Suite - The Trafford Suite (2+0)

The Trafford Suite was Mr and Mrs Trafford’s suite and is decorated in a style that is feminine and which depicts Mrs Trafford’s love of flowers and nature. The luxurious silk fabric is delicate, with careful use of creams, golds, raspberry and pale blue. Even the butterflies that adorn the beautiful fabric are so delicate as to appear almost real. This room has a spectacular divan bed that is 7 feet by 7 feet (2.13 metres by 2.13 metres). The bed is dressed with drapes fit for a queen. This is a very special, peaceful and tranquil room, with its own pleasant seating area for those of you who cannot bear to leave its sumptuous feel during your stay. The en suite bathroom continues the elegant atmosphere, with traditional sanitary ware, a spacious shower and a pretty, cast-iron, slipper bath.
